Privacy Policy

The short version: the sensitivity engine runs entirely in your browser, and the device measurements it takes are not sent anywhere.

What the tool measures

To generate settings, the page reads properties your browser already exposes to any website — approximate memory, processor core count, screen size and pixel density, and the graphics renderer name — and runs a short benchmark plus a frame-timing sample. All of it is processed locally and used to produce the numbers shown on screen.

What is stored on your device

If you unlock your settings, a single flag is saved in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again. It contains no personal information, never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.

What leaves your device

Nothing from the device scan. If you choose to send a diagnostics report from/debug, you are copying it yourself and deciding where it goes — the page does not transmit it.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like any web host, it records standard request logs such as IP address, user agent and the page requested.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides people find useful. It records page views, approximate location by country, device type and referrer. IP anonymisation is enabled, and nothing from the device scan is sent to it.

Analytics loads only after the page has finished rendering, so it never delays the tool, and it does not load at all if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. To block it entirely, enable Do Not Track in your browser settings or use any content blocker.

We also record which steps of the tool people reach — generating settings, seeing the install prompt, installing, copying settings. These are counts, not profiles: no identifier we create is attached to them, and nothing about your device measurements leaves your phone.

Advertising

The site shows no ads today. If that changes, this page will name the provider before anything goes live.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
